Thursday is ski day for Winchester Recreation! Grab your skis and your friends for four exciting afternoons at Nashoba Valley Ski Area, starting Jan 8th.
Grades 3-5
Beginners will have the opportunity to learn skiing, while more advanced participants can sharpen up their skills. In this learn-to-ski program, each week participants will take lessons followed by free ski time. Buses for this four-week lesson program will depart the Recreation Department at 2:50 sharp, returning to Winchester Recreation at approximately 7:00pm.
Please indicate your child's ability level (never skied, beginner or intermediate) so that they are placed in the proper group for their lessons.
Dates: Thursdays 1/8/25-1/29/26
Fee: $575 (Includes bus, lift ticket, lesson) All participants in Gr. 3 – 5 must be enrolled in lessons.

Grades 6-8 (NEW!)
Participants will be able to choose between lessons or free ski. Buses for this four-week lesson program will depart the Middle School Back Parking Lot at 3:45 PM, returning to the Middle School at approximately 8:00pm.

Optional Add-On Lesson Fee: $100 (4 weekly lessons)

In the event a program date is canceled due to inclement weather, we will try to add an extra Thursday at the end of the session. Please note that refunds will not be provided, even if the season is extended due to poor weather and participants are unable to attend the rescheduled dates
We are seeking chaperons for each week. If you are interested, please indicate so during registration.
If you would like to rent equipment, there will be a ski fitting @ WinRec. In December- information will be shared once details are finalized
Rentals are to be paid directly to Nashoba Valley Ski the day of the fitting. If you are unable to attend the fitting, you can be fitted at Nashoba Valley Ski Area. Payment will be processed at the time of rental.
