Woodworking Club is a hands-on afterschool program where middle school students learn real woodworking skills while designing and building their own projects. Students will safely use shop tools, accurately measure and cut wood, assemble, sand, finish, and problem-solve like true engineers and makers. Throughout the session, students will learn proper shop safety and tool use, practice measuring, marking, and precision cutting, explore the engineering design process, and build a multi-week project from raw lumber to finished product.
