Summer Speed, Agility, Strength Development
(Entering Grades 6-12)
 Location: WHS Turf & Weight Room
Instructors: Coach Wally Dembowski

Join WHS Coaches and Recreation Staff this summer for 7 weeks of speed, agility and strength training. Each group will start with Speed, Agility and Flexibility then transition into Strength & Conditioning. The breakdown of the 90 minutes will vary each day during the week including:
  • mobility and flexibility
  • strength development
  • cardiovascular endurance
  • dynamic speed training
  • plyometrics
  • agility training
  • recovery stretch
Date: Tuesday - Friday, June 30 - July 3
Monday - Thursday, July 6 - August 13
(7 weeks) 

HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM (Entering Gr. 9 - 12)
Session I: 7:15AM - 8:45AM
Session II: 7:45AM - 9:15AM
Session III: 8:15AM - 9:45AM
Session IV: 8:45AM - 10:15AM
Session V 9:15AM - 10:45AM
Session VI 9:45AM-11:15AM (JOINT 8th & 9th Grade)

MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAM
(Entering Gr. 6th - 8th)
Session I: 10:15AM - 11:45AM
Session II: 10:45AM - 12:15PM
Session III: 11:15AM - 12:45PM

Fee: $380.00
Location: WHS Turf & Weight Room

Max 30 per time slot

  • Chris Noeth – Head Indoor/Outdoor Track Coach
  • Will O’Connor - WHS PE/Wellness Teacher, Assistant Football Coach, Level 1 Certified CrossFit Trainer
  • Caroline Herlihy - Former WHS Track Captain and current discus and shot athlete at Sacred Heart University
  • Yiming Tian – WHS Alum and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, Fitness Coach
  • Bryan Harrison – Former WHS Football Captain and will be going to Harvard as a student-athlete for football
  • Peter Kowalczuk – Former WHS Track and Football Athlete
  • Kaitlyn McGonigle – Former WHS Track Captain
