This program is for boys and girls grades 2nd - 5th. Children will be placed on teams in their appropriate grade/division. Teams will practice for the first 20 minutes, concluding with 24 minutes of game play (3, 8 minute periods). Teams will consist of 8 players per team, games will be 3 on 3 with a goalie in net. A modified puck and goalie equipment will be provided. Players must have a mouth piece, leg guards (shin pads), hockey gloves and a caged helmet. Games/practices will be played 1x per week on Saturdays with complete schedules being released prior to the start of the season. Games will be refereed by a Winchester Recreation staff.
PROGRAM INFORMATION:
Rookie Division: Grades 2nd - 3rd
Veterans Division: Grades 4th - 5th
Dates: March 5th - April 9th (6 weeks)
Time: 9:00AM - 1:00PM*
*Practices/Games will be played between these hours for one
hour each week, times may vary.
Location: Winchester Recreation
Fee: $115.00
