Community Garden
Winchester has community garden plots next to the Westside Fire Station on Lockeland Road.
A small number of half plots and full plots may be available to those Winchester residents who would like to garden but do not have garden space.




  • Open to Winchester Residents only.


  • One plot per household.


  • Current garden plot participants have first priority.


  • Availability will be determined by April 1st based on current plot participants.  If any plots become available, we will contact those based on waitlist rank.


  • Please understand that Winchester Recreation only coordinates the scheduling of plots.


  • Any necessary equipment, including hoses, is the responsibility of the garden plot holders.


  • Rodenticides, pesticides and herbicides prohibited.


  • All plot holders are required to open an account with Winchester Recreation and pay fee online.


  • Upon receiving each plot holder’s address, we will dispense an address book so that plot holders can exchange information directly.

Please add yourself to the waitlist if you are interested and we will reach out when space becomes available in order of the waitlist.
